India, a South Asian nation, is the seventh-largest country by area, the second-most populous country with over 1.21 billion people, and the most populous democracy in the world. India boasts of an immensely rich cultural heritage including numerous languages, traditions and people. The country holds its uniqueness in its diversity and hence has adapted itself to international changes with poise and comfort. While the economy has welcomed international companies to invest in it with open arms since liberalisation in 1990s, Indians have been prudent and pro-active in adopting global approach and skills. Indian villagers proudly take up farming, advanced agriculture and unique handicrafts as their profession on one hand while modern industries and professional services sectors are coming up in a big way on the other.
Education is the process of facilitating learning, or the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits. Educational methods include storytelling, discussion, teaching, training, and directed research. Education frequently takes place under the guidance of educators, but learners may also educate themselves.

Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) is National Mission for Financial Inclusion to ensure access to financial services, namely, Banking/ Savings & Deposit Accounts, Remittance, Credit, Insurance, Pension in an affordable manner.
Account can be opened in any bank branch or Business Correspondent (Bank Mitr) outlet. PMJDY accounts are being opened with Zero balance. However, if the account-holder wishes to get cheque book, he/she will have to fulfill minimum balance criteria.
Governance & Administration
India is a Sovereign Socialist Secular Democratic Republic with a Parliamentary form of government which is federal in structure with unitary features.
There is a Council of Ministers with the Prime Minster as its head to advice the President who is the constitutional head of the country. Similarly in states there is a Council of Ministers with the Chief Minister as its head, who advice the Governor.
Leadership is both a research area and a practical skill, regarding the ability of an individual or organization to "lead" or guide other individuals, teams, or entire organizations . In US academic environments leadership is defined as "a process of social influence in which a person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task". Leadership seen from a non-academic perspective encompasses a view of a leader who can be moved both by communitarian goals but also by the search for personal power.
Major Corporate Foundations
Corporate foundations in India are not a new phenomenon. The wealthy of the pre-independence era, prompted by the traditions of their community or encouraged by the Gandhian principle of Trusteeship, were generous in giving back to the society. Their philanthropic contributions were not limited to donating to the poor; some philanthropists were also involved in setting up some of the most famous institutions in the country – for example: contributions of
Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) isthe flagship outcome-based skill training scheme of the new Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). The objective of this skill certification and reward scheme is to enable and mobilize a large number of Indian youth to take up outcome based skill training and become employable and earn their livelihood.Under the scheme, monetary reward would be provided to trainees who are successfully trained, assessed and certified in skill courses run by affiliated training providers.
India has a multi-party system, where political parties are classified as national, state or regional level parties. The status of party is accorded by the Election Commission of India, and the same is reviewed occasionally. All parties are registered with the Election Commission.

The Civil India is written largely by volunteers who write without getting remuneration. Anyone with Internet access can send articles to publish in portal, except in limited cases where editing is restricted to prevent disruption. Participant of the project can contribute with their real identity. The fundamental principles by which The Civil India operates are the five pillars.
The BRS MEDIA has developed many policies and guidelines to improve the project; however, it is not a formal requirement to be familiar with them before contributing. Since its creation in 2013, project has grown rapidly into one of the largest websites, attracting millions of visitors monthly as of October 2018. There are about 1,000 active contributors working on more than 10,000 articles.
Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao is a Government of India scheme that aims to generate awareness and improving the efficiency of welfare services meant for women. The scheme was initiated with an initial corpus of 100 crore.
The Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao (BBBP) Scheme has been introduced in October, 2014 to address the issue declining Child Sex Ratio (CSR). This is being implemented through a national campaign and focused multi sectoral action in 100 selected districts low in CSR, covering all States and UTs. This is a joint initiative of Ministry of Women and Child Development, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Ministry of Human Resource Development.
